Have you ever been assigned a paper
on a topic that just completely stumps you when it's time to write your
thesis statement? Are you unsure of
what a thesis statement is?
That's
what the Writing Center is for. Funded
partially by the SGA,
the Writing Center
is headed by the AEH faculty and
composed of LSUA students who are
available to tutor you on anything from
how to
get that paper started to whether or not you are correctly citing your
sources. Located in the TLC Lab in the Student Center (above the
bookstore), the Writing Center is open Monday through Friday with their
hours posted for walk-ins or to set up an appointment.

Even after the fundraisers and
scrimping together every spare penny
available, clubs sometime fall short of the money they need to
participate in the activities that they have planned.
That's where the Student Relief Fund comes in. Set up to provide a small
financial relief to LSUA organizations, the Student Relief Fund can be applied for by any LSUA club that is
recognized by the office of
Student Services. A club may get up to $1000 to apply towards their trip or
activity. All you have to do is download the application form and
guidelines
or pick them up at the SGA office. Don't wait: there are five
(5) deadlines set up throughout the year and you don't
want to miss the
one that's right for
your activity.
